Can someone please let us know how to add libraries with .nicnt files so they appear in the main libraries section on the left side of the interface? Please and thank you. Cheers.

You need to find an earlier version 5.6.x and add libraries with that. Then when you open 6.5.x the libraries will be there. If 5.6.x crashes when you try to add a library, don’t worry, they’ll still show up in the new version.

If you can get a old version of Kontakt, it is possible to adding new libraries. for example, it is version 6.0 or lower. old version Kontakt include 5.6 or 5.6.6 version. when you need adding libraries, run old version Kontakt first, than click on add tab, add new library.. nicest file.

Reverting to 5.6x versions for loading libraries would be workable… except that some of the cracked libraries require a higher version to load including the more interesting recent ones with advanced scripting. Is there ANY way at all to load libraries that require above 5.6? Otherwise, the whole thing seems pointless. Sure, I can have a version above 5.6x, but if it can only load libraries designed to work with 5.6x or earlier, then what’s the point of even having the newer version?

there’s a script to add/remove Kontakt libraries . It works absolutely fine. Google is your friend. No need for Kontakt 5.6.

@Joe, you completely missed the point from my earlier post. You’re not reverting to 5.6.x, you’re just using it to load the libraries that you then open in 6.whatever. Even if when adding a library it crashes 5.6.x, it will still open in 6.+.

Any pointers to the add library script? Didn’t have any luck with Googling so far unfortunately…
