uTorrent 1.8.7 (45548) Stable macOS | 5.3 MB

uTorrent is an efficient BitTorrent client for macOS. Most of the features present in other BitTorrent clients are present in uTorrent, including bandwidth prioritization, scheduling, RSS auto-downloading, and Mainline DHT. Additionally, uTorrent supports the protocol encryption joint specification and peer exchange. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources–typically using less than 6MB of memory, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren’t there at all.

    Is this the utorrent pro?

Doesn’t work on Mojave either. Keeps hanging. I remember that the previous upload (1 yr back) had the same issue.
Seems to be the pro version as it didn’t have advertising.
Surprised that uTorrent doesn’t have a dark mode yet. Sticking with Transmission and/or qBittorrent.

OK guys, my moto is to never give up so found a workaround 🙂
Install this version and download the official app from their website as well. Don’t install this official version but rather go the contents folder (via show package contents) and copy the 2 frameworks (Growl and Sparkle).
Now go to your previously installed qTorrent application (the one you downloaded from here) and do the same thing, browse to the Frameworks folder and now replace these 2 frameworks with the previously copied ones.
    There you go. It works!

  5. I use Deluge to download torrents.

Not only it’s open-source unlike most BitTorrent clients but it also has an option which removes .torrent files automatically on the fly.
